Mark Wynne from Orange Racing by JMH shares a look at how important the role of a Race Engineer is in the world of motorsport. From planning the strategy of the race to making mathematical calculations, a huge amount of work goes into the ‘problem’ of winning the race. 

We filmed this exciting piece at Silverstone Circuit during a test day to maximise opportunity to get great footage of both the car and the team in action. After completing our key interviews we spent the day doing fly-on-the-wall filming in the garage and pit lane, as well as moving around the racetrack to various vantage points to get shots of the car racing at top speed. The result is a very informative and exciting piece.
