The Inner Drive Teaching and Learning Summit is an annual event hosted by the Tony Little Centre for Innovation and Research in Learning at Eton College. A day of informative presentations from some of the world’s top experts aim to develop new teaching and learning methods for teachers to use in their classrooms, developing the best ways of helping young people to learn their skills. The talks take place in Jafar Hall, a 300-seater lecture hall and debating chamber.
We have filmed the Teaching & Learning summit for a number of years now, and every event proves fascinating. Above is one film out of the ten or so which we deliver each year. It is a classic example of event filming, with one wide-angle camera, one close-up camera following the speaker, and a recording of all slides to build the ‘picture in picture’ sections of the talks, where both speaker and material are displayed side by side. This is an incredibly good-looking way to show off your event content as it allows room for branding around the edges of the picture.
The feedback is always great from this event and it remains a highlight of our filming year where we always learn something new!
